Michael Baiye who is better known by his stage name “Jbwai” is a Cameroonian musician, singer, performer songwriter, record producer, born on September 28th, 1993.in Kumba, a prominent town in the southwest region of English speaking Cameroon, the town is known for his vibrant business and entertainment atmosphere, the town is popularly known in Cameroon as K TOWN 

Jbwai is presently based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, made his first venture into music when he was 24, he has released several singles such as Come Close featuring Tropicoboy and Tyke, ONA feat Tropicoboy, Holiday (single) and Imani and has been part of mega-concerts for top Afrobeats artists from Africa. 

His music is influenced by classic Afro-beat vibes, but it also has a more unique feel, embracing a wide range of modern influences, allowing his sound to hit with a mercurial twist.
